Homemade Marinara Sauce

This simple and delicious, slow simmered sauce is bursting with flavor. The key? San Marzano tomatoes! San Marzano tomatoes are sweeter and less acidic, making this marinara sauce a homerun! And we’re making this easy for you, with Magnum seasoning the only seasoning shaker you need for this recipe. The coarse garlic, onion, crushed red pepper flakes, kosher salt, and cracked black pepper in Magnum is everything you need to bring bold flavor to your sauce!

Ingredients

  • 28 oz can of Cento San Marzano Peeled tomatoes (San Marzano tomatoes are a must for this recipe!)
  • 2 Tablespoons Magnum seasoning
  • Fresh Basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pour can of San Marzano tomatoes into a blender and pulse, until blended thoroughly.
  2. Pour tomato sauce into a pot.
  3. Add 2 Tablespoons of Magnum seasoning.
  4. Add chopped, fresh basil and stir until mixed through.
  5. Heat over low on stove, stirring occasionally, for 25-30 min.
  6. Once heated through, ladle over pasta, use for pizza sauce, or even use to dunk crusty bread or mozzarella sticks! The possibilities with this sauce are endless!
